Payment Options:

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express & Discover.  We also gladly accept United States Postal Service Money Orders and personal checks.

If paying by personal check, your order will not be shipped until we have first receive the check, process it, and await confrimation that the check has cleared.  Please note, this process can take 5-7 business days.

Order Verification:

All orders placed through our website are subject to our verification process for order accuracy and authorized valid payment.  For security reasons, we may contact you via email or phone requesting additional information to validate your order.  In order to prevent fraudulent activity, we must verify the bill to and ship to address.  Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and phone number (the address and phone number your credit card issuer has on file).  Incorrect information will cause a delay in the processing time of your order.

If your shipping address is different than your billing address (where you receive your credit card statement), please call your credit card issuer to make them aware of the shipping address.  Informing your credit card issuer about your the shipping address will not change any existing billing information; it will be temporarily listed in the banks memo field for purchase verification only.  Please recognize that calling your credit card issuer about an address notification may not only be necessary, but it will also speed up the verification process.

Order Confirmation:

Upon successful completion of your order, a confirmation displaying an order number will appear on the checkout page immediately after your order is submitted.  If an order confirmation did not appear after the final submit button, we may have received your order, but communication from our server to your computer was interrupted.  Please contact customer service to verify if your order had been received.

You will also receive an order confirmation via email after completing your web order or by phone.  An email address is required so that we may keep you informed on the status of your order.  Please recognize that your ISP or email client may have a filter that is preventing the email confirmation from getting through to you. Please check your Junk Mail folder and/or turn off your Spam Filter to allow e-mail from customerservice@directsports.com.

We will never share your email address with an unrelated 3rd party except as necessary to fulfill transactions that you initiate.  Please visit our privacy policy page for more information.

Order Processing Time:

We make every attempt to process orders for in-stock merchandise the same day they are received.  Our standard cut-off time for daily order processing is 2PM EST Monday-Friday.  Orders for in-stock merchandise received during the weekend (after the Friday cut-off time) will ship on the following Monday.  Order processing times vary for merchandise that is shipped directly from our vendors (Merchandise labeled as: Dropship item – ships from manufacturer).

Order Changes & Cancellations:

Due to our quick processing times, there is a very limited chance that we will be unable to make any changes to your order.  Please double check your order and make sure all the information is correct before placing your order.

Orders shipped to the State of Virginia are subject to 5.3% sales tax.  At this time we are not forced to charge sales tax on shipments to any other state.

At this time we ship our ammunition orders packages through United Parcel Service (UPS) ground service.  Ammunition is not allowed to be shipped via “air” service.  Accessories are shipped through the US Postal Service (USPS).

Depending on the size of your order, we can ship through various trucking companies.  We have relationships with various carriers that can offer a lower cost alternative to regular UPS.  We have found that orders that have quantities of 250 boxes or more typically can be shipped via truck cheaper than UPS.  That is not always the case, but is usually the trend.

If you are ordering a large quantity of ammunition, please give us 5-7 days lead time so that we can have your order ready.  It will also give us time to shop carrier rates in order to get the best delivery price.

Any non-ammunition item may be returned for exchange or refund provided it is unused, in the original packaging and is returned within 30 days of the purchase date.  For safety reasons, we do not allow returns on ammunition.  Please call for authorization before returning any merchandise.  Shipping charges are not refundable.

We do accept personal and company checks.  We reserve the right to hold check orders 5-7 business days after we receive the check and before shipping the order.  There will be a $25 charge on all returned checks.

At this time we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.  We are required to verify the correct name and address on all credit card orders with the bank that issued the card.   Your order will not be shipped until we obtain proper credit card billing information.

At this time we do not accept PayPal.

You may pay for your order by C.O.D..  UPS will not accept personal checks so please be prepared to pay with certified check or money order.
